The difference between kids and parrots is that it's funny when a parrot talks back. www.macawsandmore.comHome: Houston, TX 1 Loved Congo African Grey~Zimba 2 Spoiled Cats Bunch of Salt Water Fishies

When all is done that is asked from me and I can fly no higher, I pray this day his hand extends to welcome home a flier.

Was Alex a plucker? He looks a bit raggedy.

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.” St. Francis of Assissi My rescued and adopted feathered family... Now that is true unconditional love! That is what an animal lover is all about. My hat (if I wore one) goes off to him. I love how he adapted things for him and treats him like his is not handicapped. If more people only lived like he did. Loonie, isn't your one Doxie handicapped? When I still had my Rotties I woke up one day to find Harley sitting with one of her legs straight out. I thought she had a stroke. She couldn't walk so I put a towel under her belly and lifted her back side so I could get her into the car. Similar to what that guy did. Harley had a spinal degeneration more commonly seen in the Doxies....hmmm doxies, Rotties, big difference. I exercised her legs and warmed saline bags and laid them on her hips. She walked and ran with a slight limp. I would have and would do know exactly what that man did for his dog.
