So I had reported before that Dumpling had 5 eggs.  It turns out we were mistaken, she still only [only, HA!!] has 4.  Still sitting on them constantly. headhammer

Babycakes has 3 and has turned into a monster.  bugeye  She just sits on them all day making a noise:  this constant "eeeep-eeeep-eep-eep-eep!" kind of thing, I had to go out today and was actually glad to get away from her for a while!  bangdhead  It is almost like she thinks I am going to try and steal them or something.  I miss my happy-go-lucky little friend! 2sadk

I did find the Quicko egg food and am giving it to my 2 little mama birds.

Oh, yeah, I have to change the paper in her cage every day, as she is kind of a "dirty bird".  She grabbed my thumb and drew blood a couple of nights ago.  Hopefully this will pass eventually, and I will have my buddy back.  Any attraction I offer takes a backseat to the overwhelming power of the eggs!  I guess that's how it should be. loveuk

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”
