Nicknames: too many to list! :P most used is gubird
Talks: all the time. let's see. he says: Love you, come here, come on, wanna come out, what are ya doin, baby, pretty bird, gnight baby, step up, and his latest: wanna apple. he says other stuff but he talks so much I'll have to listen and write down the ones I missed lol
Hand Tame: not a handfed baby, I had to gentle him myself at the store.
Where Obtained and how you came together: Petco. he came in with another gcc who was way wilder. I was working with him to gentle him down to be handled. he used to stand in his cage and put his head down. eventually I asked if he wanted his neck scratched. a couple weeks later when I asked he'd scoot over under my hand and put his head down. I totally fell in love.
Favorite Foods: fresh apples, banana chips, papaya, just about anything I'm eating most of which he's not allowed. he loves assorted cooked and raw vegies and some cooked meats, especially chicken
Favorite Toys: the cap off of an advil bottle, he gets the edge in his beak and pushes it all around the desk, then over the edge so I can pick it back up for him.
Medical Issues/Concerns: he's still got stress bars even though I've had him over a year now and his beak gets odd chips off the very end of it sometimes.
Quirks, Habits, etc..: when I'm not paying attention he climbs up my shirt collar, grabs it and rolls over on his back. then he puts his foot on my chin and just touches it. he also growls when he does it because he used to nip my chin instead of touching it with his foot and I'd growl at him lol
