sad8 Raja passed away about 6pm this evening. I am so sad for my friend Haley she tried everything but it was just too late he was too weak and too sick.
This is a perfect example of a bird hiding his illness, you would have never known he was sick he did not show any symptoms until saturday when he started throwing up and his poop look funny, when that happened he was at the vet within 2 hours.
He had surgery at noon to repair his broken wing and the second vet that was called in to do the surgery and he said he was so thin and frail but he made it throught the surgery but he was just too sick.
Haley & Erin went to the vets office this morning to give him breakfast and he had a couple of bites of crunchy peanut butter, I am glad they got to visit him one last time.

He took a bite out of just about everyone at the vets office so the green little booger went out fighting till the end.

I will let you know of the necropsy results.

I was 2 weeks away from bringing him home with me... sad8

OMG Zim I am so sorry, give Haley our condolences also.  He was a little fighter taking a chomp out of everyone.  It goes to show how fast things happen and how well they are hidden.  You all acted quickly and did everything in your power for him.  I am thinking it was something long before Haley got him.

Thank you all so much for your kind words & support, my heart has been so heavy today but he is not in pain anymore and I am so happy that I got to know him and love him, it was a wonderful gift.

He will always be my little green booger  sad8

Our animals know when we are "off" Zimba was stuck like glue to me today, everytime I put him down he would hold his foot back up to step up again so he spent most of today riding around on my shoulder pooping down my back.
