Not happening.  The price I would have to charge for supplies, time, ingredients and other entities, and then the shipping would not do me nor anyone else justice.  Just would not be worth making $2 per bag profit, not to mention with the way things are now it just would not sell.

wow! just like beak appetite. i miss that. it was great. mine is okay. and the birds eat it. but not like they ate the other. and i'm not positive it's as good for them. i guess it's okay with all the veggies. i intend to add that special spice batch next time to see if it helps. tonite it was veggie pasta with chili powder for dinner. they love it. especially skittles.  she can't get enough pasta. so i buy the whole wheat and the one with veggies cooked in.

I thawed my last bag of mash for breakfast today. I take it you cook that right before you serve it? Are you still doing mash and freezing it? Come on, hurry up, tell me, tell me, I want to know everything.  nails

Always do the mash!  Just made a HUGE batch a few days ago.  This is the staple and the Dehydrated/Micro is just a break from it now and then.  Still nutritious but not like me mash man! smile3

Ooopse, yeah ya cook it (Dehydrated/Micro meal) before.  I now do something different though with that and my grains/pastas for the mush.  Instead of litely cooking it I will bring water to almost a boil and then add to the grains/pastas.  I then will cover and let soak in.  I stir every now and then.  I do not actually cook the grains/pasta and the (Dehydrated/Micro meal) anymore but that instead.  This way there is even less nutrition lost due to cooking thumb

Cool. Thanks! I will probably whip up a batch of something tomorrow and I'll give it a try.

I always make a birdie mush concoction or 2 (or 3 lol) and have them in the freezer.  I offer them to Zuri all the time too but she prefers chopped stuff and will usually ignore the mush.  So now I have less room for us in the freezer haveing bags for her and then bags for Yoshi.  lol

I am sure D will go into greater detail.....lol
The mush he makes is (or mash) is frozen in freezer bags and then defrosted before they eat it.....only defrosted as not to actually cook and lose essential nutients.  The mash consists of fruits, vegies, grains etc. etc. and the vegies and fruits are put thru a food processor.

The dehydrated mix....I boil the water which is slightly less than the amt. of dry mix used.  Add the water, stir and let it sit and "re-hydrate" itself so to say.
All the fids eat this for dinner and we alternate days with the mush and dehydrated mix.  And yes, when D portions out the dry mix it is all mixed together in a large freezer bag and I just take what I need from out of that bag.

The fids dinner is fed slightly warm if that.  When we had Miah we had to watch this very closely as serving the warmer foods could put her into a breeding, egg laying mode.

Feel free to ask any questions!  That is why we are all here!  thumb

The "Mush"..."Mash"...is all fresh stuff that we freeze.
The Dehydrated mix is all dehydrated ingredients.

If you think this is confusing you should read the recipes and ingredient list!!  bugeye...lol  I am sure it is floating somewhere on here and on our website as well.

Like Mar said.  One is dehydrated and the other is mostly raw fruits, veggies put through a food processor and added to cooked grains.  Here is a link for both recipes http://buffaloparrot.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,13.0.html
