May I make a suggestion? When ever you speak to Hawthorne, you should do so with a British Accent! So that he can learn to say things like, "Ello, I'm Hawwthorrnne, can u direct me to the nearest loo?"  or "Basket of fish n chips, gov'ner"  Just think, he can be the first Gray to speak with an British accent! *snort! I slay me! :D
And that sweet little "peekaboo" Griffin, did he chomp up the basket?

The difference between kids and parrots is that it's funny when a parrot talks back.

nope theTim, i didn't make that basket.

LOL thats a good idea deb! everyone i know says "why did you name him Hawthorne, he's an african bird, you should have named him an african name" but i didn't want to jump on the bandwagon of everyone naming their greys african names. No offense to anyone here, i do love african names and considered a few, but i always have to do the complete opposite that everyone else does, it's just how i am.  :) He shall now be the first British-african bird  :D

and no griffin didn't get a chance to chomp the basket. i just took a few pics and then hid it.  ;D
