It is moving reallllly slow today not sure who's end it is on mine or yours  I love the new little parrots on the left hand side of the screen...very cute!  And I never was able to get into the shot or chat box so I wont miss them.  The smile things are fun but I spend so much time picking one out  |

Posting and replying to topics has been real slow for me the last 5-9 days. I do not know if any others are having this issue also? Navigating seems much faster but posting is loading way slow IMO. I have contacted the server to see how to fix this.

I received a reply from the server. This is what he said so hopefully soon all will be back to normal.
Server: I have been running backups on databases which take a couple days for each server so that maybe why it is taking a while.

Im also having problems posting and actually the whole page is loading slower for me  I voted that I wish the shout box was back, though it wasnt used a lot I thought Wishy and some others posted some cute things in it. The one that made everything load real slow for me was the chat box on the bottom. Its all good without the shout too just thought it was cute, for people like Bird crazy who is only able to pop in and say hi once in a while it was a neat feature. |

I think bfids made a good point there but I don't think it'd be too hard to make a quick post. I personally like the new smileys but only to a degree. We no longer have basic smileys and I wish we did. Also I post most things from a phone myself and I find all the smileys taking a looooong time to load and scroll just to find the reply box. I wish more of the smileys were in a drop down box to save load time. All of the other changes I so far enjoy and am plaesed with

I have dropped 15-20 smileys to the drop down box. I too liked the shoutbox in a way, but it took up much space, load time, and IMO it does not take much longer to post a hello/update via the forum. That is what a forum is for. Too many members were using this instead of the forum I have painstakingly built. It hurts stats etc and new members want to see a healthy forum with a nice # of posts etc.
