This is highly unlikely i think... but if anyone ever finds a brotogeris that is in need of a home would someone please contact me.  Be it found at a rescue, someone can't care for, saw an ad for it, or what not... i would love to get a second canary wing parakeet but would consider any member of the broto genus.  I have long considered purchasing one from shady pines aviaries in fla as she seems extremely reputable however i'd rather give an adoption bird a home first.

Keep researching rescues, etc in the meantime!  Try and be patient, though I know it's hard! ;)
