Tonight Zuri was playing ball with my hubby.  he would toss the ball to her she would pick it up and toss it back!  This was going on for quite some time.  Then I was doing some clicker training telling her to take the shapes rings off the ring toss game.  She was doing great.

It is nice to see her play when she is off the cage now too.  And she is creating a bond with hubby even though he can't touch her.

I too think its GREAT!  Cadillac plays ball to but more like he throws it AT you from across the room not to you ;)   Junebug will however play soccer with one of those cat balls. If you flick it to him  he will run pushing it back then go back to where he was and wait.

I didnt know you were doing clicker training, has it taken him a while to get the hang of it? Its also great that he will interact with your husband, most Brent gets is "be nice be nice" or they go back and forth making obnoxious sounds

Oh wait I take that back if Brent has pizza crust, burrito, hot wings, or tamalie's Cadillac will beg for a bite even come out of the cage down to the chair Brent is on and glare at him til he has some..

Kuddo's to you and Zuri excellent progress

Sorry guys no vid this time.  I did think of it just didn't want to ruin it since she gets scared of the camera usually.  Maybe next time I will try.

LMC-I did some clicker with her soon after she came to us and that is how she knows our "nice to meet you" foot shake.  (although with her it is more like giving a low five)  I actually have not done it since because she is so nervous.  But last night was going so well with her actually playing outside the cage I thought I would try.  Takes her like 2 or 3 times to realize what I am asking her to do then sometimes she does the click too. ;D  Same before when I did it.
