Just wanted to see if any here watched/followed hockey?  My mother was born in Quebec, Canada and I was born with skates on and played up till 10 years ago though have not followed it much the last two years.  I will say though that my Buffalo Sabres are doing much better than I though and are kicking butt at 20 wins- 9 losses and 2 OT losses afro.gif

nope, i "hate" being a member of the steel city.  who cares where i am, you can take the girl outta the burgh but you can't take the burgh outta me :D

tonight (right now) its us vs the city of brotherly love... and as i like to say in our ever so fond tone...phuck philly... hehe

yes your sabre's are doing fairly well, i have to have center ice to see my team so i see a number of games.  ave's and hawks are my other two fav teams to watch this year but also sabres, kings, and canucks are doing well and fun to watch :)

I love hockey but in an odd way I guess. I don't like to watch it on TV, I prefer to go to the games. I don't follow national teams, I'm more of a hometown team fan. When I was living in NY I would go see the River Rats all the time. There is nothing like being right there, smelling the ice and watching the puck fly. Of course the fights are pretty cool too  evil.gif The best game I ever saw was when 2 players slammed into the boards so hard that they broke the glass. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen!

Yeah, you guys won in the shootout! knuppel2.gif  Was an awesome game though we had our back up goalie in and our #1 sniper was not playing, and was our 2nd game in a row and not you guys.  We shall see you goofballs in the playoffs ;)
