Why… thank you, you guys are so sweet! So how do we do this? You want to know about me or what? Ok I’ll give you a little story. My name is Julie I am from a large family; I have 5 brothers and 3 sisters, I’m the youngest. Born & raised in Western New York but moved from that cold place in 2001 after my Mom retired & moved out of state (she is in NC) I have moved around a bit these past few years but that is an even longer story & wont bore you with that. I am on my second marriage the first one crashed and burned real fast. My current husband is from SC originally and is a true southern gentleman.
When we moved here (Houston, TX) 7 months ago from Florida I started my own pet sitting service, the first few months was tough but now I have steady work and I am really enjoying it. I named my company Macaws and More hoping to get a lot of bird clients and it is working, there are lots of pet sitters out there but not many that can really take care of birds and that is where I come in!
I have had Zimba since she was a baby,(I got her in 2000, she will be 9 this year) I used to go to the pet store everyday on my way home from work for a month to hold her and sing her to sleep so we knew each other pretty well before I brought her home. I just love sharing my life with her she is so much fun, I cant imagine how quite my house would be without her in it and don’t even want to think about it. I would love more birds but we are in an apartment so I don’t really have the room, besides my husband is deathly afraid of birds…go figure! If you want more info you can look at my web site www.macawsandmore.com  and you can look at my pictures on www.myspace/zimbasmom.com there now we had no secrets.

Thank you for this forum K&T Mom & Dad this is a fun place!

For my award I would love some Buffalo pizza & wings!
