I don't have talent to make a stand. I found this in a supermarket and it makes an excellent parrot stand.

The difference between kids and parrots is that it's funny when a parrot talks back.

My daughter saw this thing while we were passing through a section in the car park at a supermarket. They were clearing all the display goods. My gal said, "Dad, this is for Koko." I don't know what the heck it is used for but it will make an excellent stand for my fids. Mocha perched on it immediately while Koko who has no guts on new things refused to.

Hey, I am with everybody...if it works, use it!  It looks like a rack of some sort.  How does Koko get a grip on it????  You could wrap some cotton rope or stuff around it if she can't grasp it.  She knows she has the coolest dad that's for sure!  With her high tech perch!

Is it sturdy? The base looks kinda small. I would hate for it to tip over.

The stand is quite sturdy. I think there shouldn't be any problem with both kids on it.
Koko has yet to play on her new toy.
