Actually, the cage they were in isn't as bad as it could be.  :-\ What just amazes me is where the hell are the perches and food bowls?  >:( You can buy perches anywhere and they are not that expensive.  Same for the feed bowls.  They had no toys!  >:( YOU can go in Petsmart and buy those 3 packs of budgie toys for about 2.99!  AND sometimes single toys for budgies are as low as 99 cents!  YOu can get food for budgies for under 5.00 a bag!  MIght not be the top of the line food, but it is a heck of a lot better than wild bird food.  All the wild bird food I've seen lately is pretty high priced to me.

The no toy situation really bums me out!  It's a wonder they hadn't started plucking out of boredom. tickedoff.gif
