I was in Petsmart the other day looking to buy a couple of new toys for the fids when I saw a package of woven palms and thought hmm. I was getting bored with what I was rotating for them and figured they must be getting bored with it too. For just under $4 I was able to re-do 6 of their toys and make them into a chewing delight! I love it! I made some toys today too. It is rainy here and I didn't feel like doing bills yet, really not wanting to know how broke I really am. So I procrastinated and made some toys.
I bought those palms too before figuring the shread masta Yoshi would love it. He would not touch em. ??? I don't get it. I know lots of birds that love em.

I bought a big roll of it, and nobody touches it. I'm gonna try some with the keets.

Did you say rain?...send it this way please, I miss the rain :( Hmm....maybe it's the texture of the palms that Yoshi didn't like. I've noticed some that are in the stores are softer and a bit thicker than others, less dried out it seems. Thanks Jades :) Maybe someday I'll open a web store for fiddy toys ;) |
