Most Parrots love sprouts of any kind and they are super nutritious AddEmoticons04239  Our guys love sprouted Aduki and Mung beans, lentils and alfalfa sprouts.

Oh yeah, I'm a sprouts fanatic! My birds just adore them, and they're soo much healthier than plain seeds. Here's a thread I made that talks about how to sprout and the benefits of feeding sprouts to your birds:

THat should do it. Fids are less likely to eat veggies when they have carbs made avail to them. (heehee.. much like their mommy) Unless you turn the veggies into toys!  No fid can resist a colorful chewy toy. I think I'll start a foraging thread.

ya i noticed the same.. i make shish-co-bobs out of zip ties.. with berries and gram crackers..

grham crackers are cheap and my fids love to destroy them. i also make them out of raw noodles..

tke some nuddles and soakem i will wrap them around stuff so when they semi dri the birds have a forging toy.. i will post s pics when i get settled..my tial loves it..
