One of the neighbors who lives behind my house has a talkative Hill Mynah. The bird was stolen about 2 months ago.
The owner found the bird in a house about 1/2 mile away. He confronted the thief and the bird was returned.
What a happy ending. :)

So nice, a happy ending for a change.   AddEmoticons04239
And I too hope the thief was arrested.

Good that does not happen very often, wow the bird was so close. Do tell how did he find him?

The difference between kids and parrots is that it's funny when a parrot talks back.

I don't think the owner made a police report. We need a license to Hill Mynah. The wildlife department have stopped issuing license for this bird since 2004. He can't make a police report otherwise he would be in deep $hit.

I didn't ask how he managed to locate his stolen bird. Our conversation was very short.
