This is what I plan on making tomorrow for the flocks dinner.  It is actually meant for break feast but by the time I get it done will be too late.  I will make enough for a few batches.  I will take some pics tomorrow as I cook it.  I think it will be a hit.

Parrot Oatmeal Surprise

- Red Mill 10 Grain Hot Cereal Mix

- Raw Banana

- Raw peeled Apple

- Raisins

- Dates (chopped)

- Walnuts (salt free &chopped)

- Flax seed

- Cinnamon

Cook grains according to direction and cool in the fridge.  Puree Bananas and Apples.  Mix all ingredients into the cooled grains and serve.

Hmmm...that might be something I'll  have to try with my non-fruit eating fids. I haven't thought of puree with the fruit, could be just the ticket!

Man, was a HUGE hit!!!  I haven't seen them eat with this much gusto in a long while AddEmoticons04239  Here is the finished product.

I will tell ya straight out that when I was making this it smelled so good my stomach was rumbling!  I tasted it and ..dawg gone!  A good human breakfast also afro.gif

I will try that one with Zuri, she loves oatmeal. yoshi wont touch it.
