This is what I use for almost anything I make for our parrots.  I mix equal amounts of Ground Cinnamon, Ground Nutmeg, Ground Ginger, Powdered Cayenne, Powdered Jalepeno, Ground Cloves, Powdered Anise Seed and Ground Allspice.  I keep it in the frig, in a ziplock bag with a little scoop.

I tried cinnamon this morning on their stuff. No body ate it. I did add some cayanne pepper to the mash, not much as I am not sure what the canary wings eat and i am scared of frying the finches from the inside out. They like their little bit of breakfast too. They meep like crazy till they get some.

OK, OK, I will try your Parrot Spice Blend!  Zeno already likes paprika, and I've been putting cayenne on her corn this week. I just tried allspice on some sweet potato sticks, she flipped them out of her dish, but I'll keep trying, and adding the other spices, too. She's one picky eater.   tickedoff.gif newquakermama

The only way I can get Zuri to eat brown rice is with crushed red pepper flakes.  Then she gobbles em up.
