A friend of mine rescued a quaker with a head injury. Turbo (what I named him today) is blind :'( He's a wild quaker who's as loving as can be. She's had him for a couple of months and at best he might see shadows. I gave him one of Noah's (RIP buddy) little huts today..this evening I found him sound a sleep in it. I will take a couple of pictures of him tomorrow....he's chunky and as cute as a button

When all is done that is asked from me and I can fly no higher, I pray this day his hand extends to welcome home a flier.

That's for the compliment Arty!
Yup, he's a baby wild quaker. Not sure how he hurt himself but the person doing the rescue couldn't keep him or release him back to his flock...so here he will stay. I put a whole bunch of foot toys in his cage and he's having so much fun playing. I'm looking for a cage for him that's long not high. He can climb but prefers to spend all his time on the bottom. Last night he sat with me while we had company and enjoyed having his head scritched. I'm charging the camera battery so you will have pictures later today!

Yes! I am back and all over this. Poor little sweetheart. Thank you so much...quakers are just the best smitten.gif smitten.gif smitten.gif...I can't wait to see pics of him.. I have my finches in a 50 x 18 inch flight cage. Depending on if your quake is a chewer or not, maybe something like that would work out. Lots of room for a little bottom dweller...
