I saw Ruthy at work Friday night. Some of you know she recently adopted a canary from SCBR. She was waiting for me at the door at work with a huge smile on her face. I asked "how do you like the boy" and she practically yelled "I love him!" and grinning from ear to ear!
She has named him Frankie after Frank Sinatra, because, as she puts it "He is such a crooner." She is absolutely in love. She says he is everything she was hoping for and more, and gave me a run down of all the color variations in his feathers. Thanks Chance and SCBR for making Ruth so happy and giving Frankie a wonderful forever home.

That's great!!!!  Canaries are really special little birds.  My fellow Legolas Greenleaf definately interacts with me and if I didn't have Thistle the Jack Russell Terrorist Legolas could come out and fly around.  Thistle, however, thinks birds should be tasty treats for terriers!

I can't believe how one little bird can cause so much happiness. Her lovies are mesmerized by Frankie and his singing. Everybody is enjoying him!
