Here are some pictures of my 13 year old cockatiel, Lady.




In this picture, Lady was landing after flying from my hand to her cage.  I have to keep her cage padded because she isn't very good at judging distances.  I've decided to let her grow in her flights, so that's why her wings look kinda half clipped and half grown out--she's molting right now.  My hope is do teach her some basic flight training, since she shows the most intrest of all of my fids.  We're working on it!  ;)

I love the girl tiels too!  Maybe I am a bit biased though...  8)

Zimba--I adopted Lady on Mother's day of 1999, so she has been part of the family for almost 10 years!  She is the bird that really got me interested in parrots.  I was 7 years old when I adopted her, so we have grown up together.  The bond she has with me and my other family members is amazing--she completely trusts us with everything.  There isn't and won't ever be another bird like her!   AddEmoticons04239
