I am reading this book "Tales from a Dog Catcher" and it is GREAT.  It is about a young woman Animal control Officer in Annesville, NY.  She writes about the stories that stick out in her mind about her 10 years on the force in the 80's.  It is so good, you feel like you are in the car with her when she goes out to do her work, it is funny, heartwarming, interesting, touching.  I got it from the library, it called out to me like "the dogs who found me" did, (which is also a really good book...so good I bought 4 more copies to give as gifts!)

Since these books are about animal rescue, i figured they belong here...just wanted to let ya know!

Cool! I will have to add these two to my book wish  list, which is now 43 books strong. (I never get the list down very low, by the time I read one or two books on it, I find another one or two I want to read.)
