I made a batch of my homemade dehydrated micro meal for the fids and looked so good I thought about eating it!  This batch contains Whole grain spaghetti noodles, whole grain egg noodles, about 10 different grains, cracked corn, almonds, Raisins, Cranberries, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, lentils, peas, navy beans, pinto beans, zuchini, sweet potato, tomato, green beans, pineapple, apples, figs, blueberries, rasberries, strawaberries, Chili peppers, banana, mango, papaya, coconut, traditional yeast and an assortment of spices AddEmoticons04239  I also added raw wheat germ for added vit E and other vitamins.

I love cooking for the fids. Tonight they are having pasta and veggies. They definately eat healthier that I do. But...last night they had barbecued chicken wings. Its the only way to have total silence in the bird room for about a half an hour.  smitten.gif my little cannibles.

Sorry, no side dishes. But I did have a major breakthrough today. I have been offering all fresh foods and treats to Bella, with no success. All she would eat besides pellets is cheerios and gerber graduate strawberry / banana crunchies. Today I put a piece of parrot bread in her treat cup, and she demolished it. It had broccoil, peas, carrots, corn, lima beans, peppers, egg shell, black beans, lentils, and whatever else I had on hand. This is so great. At least she had a taste of lots of veggies, and now she is in there picking at pasta and veggies. Yeah...go Bella baby!
She still takes 2 hand feedings a day, so I am hoping we can stop those soon. She doesn't take much, but nobody goes hungry here. What Bella wants, Bella gets.  :-*
