I agree!  Don't let them win.  They have no life and get off making others feel bad about theirs...

Don't let it get you down, they are being spiteful in because they are jealous. Never for a moment think that you did not deserve to have an article written about you, you will always be a hero in my world and many others I'm sure!

Try not to let it get to you, I know it's hard. It may not seem like it now, but the good far outweighs the bad. There are far more people out there, the ones who didn't know of the rescue before and the ones who truly love birds and would do anything to save them as they see them as a member of the family. It may not seem like it now, but this was a good step for SCBR. So what if they are being nasty, they are showing that they are worthless in this world and their words are empty! Besides, you will always have everyone here who supports you  AddEmoticons04239 Keep your chin up, you are better then those people ever could be. CL might as well be a chat site, it's not worth it's salt and neither are the nasty words of others. You know you are doing a great job, you know what lengths you will go to in saving a bird, you know how much love is in your heart for them, you know you are a good person and in the end that is all that matters!

I couldn't have said it better myself. Chance is a very "wear my heart on my sleeve" kind of person. I am always telling her not to listen to the bull****. She gets upset easily and I understand it, I see the things she goes through, I am a bit more thick skinned and can take the critisizm better. Hopefully with all of us on the 2 forums, we can help her to ignore the A** holes.

I don't know if anyone had the chance to see this before it was flagged and removed on CL. It pisses me off that people are free to bash someone but when you come to their defense yours gets removed! WTF is up with that? CL needs some serious overhauling, I see lots of defirmation of character by default lawsuits coming their way very soon if they don't fix something.

Enough already with the bashing of SCBR! You are making personal attacks on something you really know nothing about. Your attacks are purely out of spite because you were found unfit as adopters. I can see by your postings that there was a very good reason for finding you unfit! You obviously do not care enough about birds to see the big picture here. Where do you supose someone should house 200 birds? They certainly are not going to fit into a house.  You talk of no vet care and yet SCBR has a vet they work with on a regular basis. Any sick birds are kept by Barbs side at all times, she provides round the clock care. You speak of only opperation hours that these birds get attention. Tell me do you stay up all night with your birds giving them constant attention? Are you by their sides at all times giving them attention? I think not! I have no doubt that the birds in SCBR's care receive more attention than you could ever provide your own. Afterall it takes precious time away from your birds to publicly bash someone on so many sites! As for the Lafeber post that was made what would you do if you introduced a new food and all of the sudden birds started to die? Would you sit idly by and never think of maybes and what ifs? I would have done the very same thing, in death everything must be ruled out to find an answer. Whether it was due to Nutraberries or not do you really think a huge co like that is going to tell full truths? You need to get off your high horse, bucked off in fact and get over yourselves. Enough is enough, find something good to do with your time. Try seeing things for what they really are instead of looking through jealous, jaded eyes.
SCBR is non-profit there is no financial gain there, everything donated and taken in through adoptions goes straight to food, vet care, supplies and anything else that is needed for the birds that are cared for there. To say Barb is using adoptions as personal gain is perposterous! Do you really think she would risk the lives of 200 birds and her own life by personal gain? I can asure you she wouldn't, there would be nothing to gain and no where for all those parrots to go. It's time to give SCBR the credit it deserves for giving a second chance to so many abused, neglected and unwanted birds. Would any of you be willing to take in 200 birds, care for them everyday of you life, suffer long term health problems all in the quest to provide them with love and care? I think not, it takes a hero to do that and a hero you will never be!
Anyone out there who thinks there is even a grain of truth in these posts bashing SCBR I urge you to visit the rescue and see for yourself what it is like there. See if you can leave there without feeling so emotional on the verge of tears when you look at all those parrots that were abused and neglected. See if you can walk out of there without a feeling that you need to do more to help. See how hard Barb works to keep things running. See just how much food is needed on a daily basis to feed 200 birds. See how many cages, toys and other bird related items are needed to keep these birds happy. See for yourself what costs go into running a rescue of this size. When you leave think back on these post of personal bashing and ask yourself if there was ever a grain of truth in them.

Stay strong Chance, don't give her the satisfaction. You'll probably feel a bit better if you go off on her but in the end it wouldn't help anything and being what she is she would most likely turn your words around and use them against you. Take a deep breath and stay close to those fids who love you so much, they will help you through.

I posted on CL, of course it was flagged but I flagged their butts as many times as I could.  Chance they want what you have....what they don't have.  I don't know how to tell you to stay strong and ignore them but know and always remember this,  You have us and your site behind you and we are way better than them trolls.  We more than outnumber them.  They set out to piss you off and succeeded and thus pissed all of us off too.  You are not down, they are.  Jealousy does some amazing things doesn't it.  Look at how sad they are at what brings them enjoyment.  They should be ashamed of themselves!

The best thing to do is act as though it doesn't bother you.  Show them you are the better person you know you already are.  The reasons behind all of this?  You have something they could never come close to ever having.... A heroes heart of gold!  They know this, are jealous and making complete fools of themselves.  They need to grow up and attempt to start living a real life for themselves.  That is all.  Popcorn anyone? ???

I have an idea.......You know, when I broke up with my ex, I thought i was dying inside. My best friend Julie gave me some awesome advice. She said"being happy is the best revenge" and even if your dying on the inside, you be a happy girl on the outside. Just to show him how little his leaving matters, even if it kills you. I think we should apply this theory to those two cockroaches who have decided their life goal is to bash Barb and the rescue. There are two of these losers. There are many many more of us than them between SCBR and BP. I think we should flood CL with good stories about Barb and SCBR. The caring stuff she does, the success stories, the happy adoptions, stuff like that. They of course will pull our posts, as we will pull theirs, but there are way more of us than them. We will win that tug of war just because of sheer numbers.
And, absolutely do not directly respond to any of their lies. Totally ignore them. Nothing pisses somebody off more than being ignored and treated like you are not even worthy of a reply. They do this to get an argument going, get a rise out of us, they live for the hurt and turmoil, and I bet just about pee down their own legs in excitement knowing they have upset not only Barb but all of us.
I say, don't give them what they want. They are not worthy of our energy. Post only goodthings, great things, ignore these nasty mean spirited cows, and sit back anad enjoy their frustration for a change. What do you think?
