Thank you for this timely reminder!

Our pets, feathered and furred, should be in a carrier and that carrier should be belted in. If you can not belt the carrier it should be on the floor behind the passenger seat. If this isn't possible then use tie-downs and ratchet the carrier/cage  in place in the back of you vehicle. Seat belts for dogs are available in most pet stores or sold on pet sites.
