Mango was my very first Parrot, Terri! She was adorable and always sat snuggled up under my chin. She was so affectionate and would go to anyone. She did have her loud moments as with all conures, but only for short periods.

She loved to fly around! One awful day, she came flying round the corner, headed for the window, smashed straight into it and fell to the floor. I thought she had just stunned herself!! This was not the case. I went to pick her up and just knew this had killed her  :cry1: It was an awful experience and I wouldn't want to witness it again  She was just 5 Months old  cry

Here are a couple a pics of Mango!

Sorry for the late reply Terri, I have been having wooden flooring put down and it has been chaos here  oh

My love for Zons started when I used to go into a pet shop. There was a BF Zon called "Bono". He was not for sale though. Everytime I went in, he chatted away and put his head down for him to pet him. He was just adorable :) I then saw an ad in our local paper for YC baby Zons. I rang them and went to see him a few days later. He had 2 which were identical. Codie came to me and snuggled in. I just knew he had picked me and wanted me to take him home  :hehe2: He was only 8 weeks old at the time, so I couldn't take him. He finally came to me when he was 11 weeks old and as you know, he is still very bonded to me  That was nearly 4 years ago now! OMG, how time flies  shk

Thanks Blanca. Yes, Mango was my very first Parrot and she was adorable. Yes, they are very, very vocal! You just wouldn't believe that so much noise can come from such a small bird  hardlaf
