Amazons have always been more popular in Europe. I have seen St Vincents here in the US, but no St Lucias. Imperials were on display in Houston, not sure if they still are. Red Necked Amazons are close in appearance to the St Lucia but not as bright in the blue face. I think at one point, the government of St Vincent & the Grenadines demanded the return of all captive St Vincent Amazons claiming that they were all acquired illegally. Even those that had permits to prove their legal acquisitions were called forgeries or fraudulent
