I'm not exactly sure where to post this but I'm super excited!!!
I fly to Michigan on Friday to interview for a position in the Graduate Program at Oakland University in the Comparative and Cognitive Psychology program. My research would be in animal behavior with the opportunity to conduct research at the Detroit Zoo.

Sorry I've been so absent lately. Life has been super crazy.  I've been working 6 days a week and volunteering the 7th day at the OKC zoo. It makes it hard to want to do anything when I finally did get home. But the "good" news is I no longer work at that job. (They weren't going to let me off work to go to my interview for graduate school.) So while I am unemployed currently, I'm taking the time to really prepare for my interview. When I get back I'll start the serious job hunting again. |

I got accepted!!!!!!!!  I start my graduate program in September! I will be studying animal behavior and my research focus will be in bird species!  My goal with furthering my education is to provide research that will impact the world of captive bird care. So I may be hitting y'all up for some ideas! Sorry....lol I'm just a little excited!!  |
