Glad you bought him another cage that is like his original one! Believe it or not I have heard of birds who just can not function when taken out of a cage they have known and place in a different cage. I've known some that just about died, literally, so I am happy you figured out how to make Codie happy again.

That's quite a scarey thought Sondra
It is quite amazing how getting him the same cage again, he has gone back to the Codie I have always known He comes out all the time again and is playing with all his toys. I am so glad, I made the right choice here

It funny how their minds work, but I almost understand the cage thing, especially with a rehomed bird or a bird who has only known one cage all it's life. Other than that I don't understand birds at all.

Pearl , my Goffin came with a smaller Kings cage. Hes such an active bird I wanted to move him to a bigger cage . But he would not have it. He came being one of the most neurotic birds ive come across . We worked through a lot of his issues . If he wants to keep his cage so be it.

Love Codies new cage Wendy, he looks so happy and relaxed bless him I've heard about birds dying through the stress of having a new cage too, for some it must be too much to bear, but you won't have that worry with Codie x

I'm with Codie~~ I like this cage best of all the ones he's had recently!
He just looks so much more regal in that setting. And he loves it!!
