Have 3 update photos from Kachina Raye's breeder Wendy to share. These are not really good photos. She says he makes it impossible to take photos of him due to his running up to her every time he sees her for a hug and scritch. He's on 2 feedings a day now, so it will still be awhile before he is ready to give up the baby stage. I told Wendy to let him be a baby as long as he wants. I can wait for Kachina Raye to grow and be ready for his new home with me even if it takes a year or more.

Kachina Raye is absolutely adorable  He seems to be perching very well despite his lack of toes  He has the cutest little face I have ever seen!

Thanks Wendy. Kachina looks so baby faced still. With such a little bit of toes he has it is amazing that he does perch so well in the photos. I bet he is super cute walking around on those little stubby things. 
Terr, I have read that the BTM is supposed to be a very sweet loving macaw too. He certainly sounds like he will be, at least up until he reaches that 'hormonal' stage we all dread in our big kids.  I'm sure he will have a time getting used to changing homes since he is so attached to his breeder Wendy. Angel was like that with his breeder Vicki and it took over a yr of being with me before he actually began bonding to me in that way we know when they feel they belong.

Thanks Blanca, it looks like it will be at least another month. I pretty much expected this given the trauma he went through. 
It always seems like the day will never get here when a new Fabie gets home. Then a few years down the road and we are thinking back~~"Has it really been 20 yrs together already?"
