Caboose is the Caique I got from Debra in Texas. He acts like quite the baby [and I think hes 3] . What a love . He loves to hang out on me while I eat [and of course I share ]. He has progressed to climbing down during dinner and making the rounds to everyones plate Hes also started playing with all his toys like a Caique should. What a sweetheart im glad hes made his way here.

That's wonderful to hear! How is he getting on with your other caiques? Is his feather presentation getting any better?

Caboose has his cage right by where I hang out. He doesn't seem to have any interest in the other Caiques [they want to check him out though]. Hes funny hes always trying to climb on me [and so is Ruby my Gw] . Its quite the sight [the different size birds]. I of course don't want to take any chances with anyone getting hurt. His feathers have more of a luster to them now. Hes not plucking but not a lot of new feathers coming in. He needs to get a work up at the vet [on my list] . Ive been to the vet with Lexi my zon.

Awww, that's so sweet to hear!! He just needed the right special human.
Our birds are not unlike us. They don't always work out in the relationship they have with the 1st person who falls in love with them and takes them home. Sometimes it takes a few broken hearts even with the feathered kind to finally find 'That Certain One' that completes them and makes all the tries before just a faint memory.

Terri,
Good to hear Caboose is feeling at home with you and he's such a Delight. I see you have more Caiques then only Caboose. I just love Caiques, but.............. I have none. What species of Caiques do you have?
Greetings from the Netherlands, Rita
