Hello to everyone! My name is Terri. I have 2 parrots. They are both a year old. Oliver, a lilac crown amazon and Bozo, a Goffin cockatoo! They are both flighted. We have an outdoor play aviary my husband built for them last year that is 25 feet long, 12 feet wide and 7.5 feet high. Everything in the aviary is natural tree branches, grasses, bird bath, although they both prefer the mister. I am an animal lover through and through. We had a blue fron Amazon we called Jake for 32 years or so and she took ill last year, we had her at an avian intensive care hospital for about a month but needless to say we lost her. I had never been without a bird so we jumped in feet first and got these two. They are my total priority. I cook most of their food and spend as much time as possible with them. I am so sorry to hear about Jake! I am really looking forward to seeing pics of Bozo and Oliver. You will be the first with a Lilac Crowned Amazon

Welcome to our flock here Terri!  Oh great we must have photos of your feathered kids! 
Sorry to hear about your sweet Fabie passing. Jake is flying high now watching over his flock here on earth.
I especially want to see photos of your outdoor aviary. I will have one too as soon as I get my hubby Jerry wrangled into building it.

Your birds sound awesome!!! Is their a big difference [personality wise ] between the lilac and what the bluefrnt was like?
