So many people have told me that it is a must to give your bird sprouted seeds! As of yet I have never done this for Codie, so, today I am going to give it a go  smile3 I have it soaking at the moment. When it is ready I will take a pic for you  thumb Now, whether Codie is going to like it is another story. LOL. Do any of you sprout seeds for your birds?

Here is a good site I found that gives step by step instructions.

To be honest, I haven't sprouted nearly as much as I used to when I had my Ekkis.  The Ekkis would go ballistic over the sprouts, but my current fids seem to be playing with the sprouts more so than anything else.  "oops2"

Notice I said that I "mixed' sprouted seeds in the chop mix. I don't have the time, energy, or inclination to go through all that madness, so I buy them from Whole Foods.
