Rosie!

Most of you know I used to have a Galah Cockatoo and how much I loved her and how devastated I was to find out just how allergic my daughter was to the dander. I don't very often talk about Rosie, or show pics. She was a little terror. lol. I swear she could run faster than a dog  Her favourite thing to do was run across the floor with a stick and bash it from side to side as she ran  She could chomp her way through a wooden perch within seconds as most Cockatoo's can  Haha, the boy in pink panties would have loved Rosie

Look at her     She looks like my Jennifer    Funny they can have different looks . Dakota is a deeper pink .  It would be funny to have a bunch of them.

Awww, I would have loved to have known Miss Rosie.  I can just imagine how hard it was to give her up. She was a gorgeous girl!! And I'm sure 'The Boy In Pink Panties' would have fallen for her. 

She was much more active than Dakota is do far. He's not too bad now about getting on the floor. He is a busy boy tho and shreds newspaper to bits like you said he would Wendy.  Branches or wood he isn't into chewing through too much yet.

Oh, yes, Rosie loved to shred paper. If I gave her a branch to chew she would peck her way through it like a little woodpecker. Within half an hour all you could see was a pile of wood shavings on the floor  I am sure Dakota will start this at some point

Rosie was so pretty, Wendy!!  It must be hard for you to look at her pictures, remembering the fun times  you've had.  She sure was so brilliantly coloured!!!    AND she looks like the sweetest bird, too.

Thank you, Wendy, Yes, she was so pretty and so comical. There was never a dull moment when she was around  It has taken me a long time to be able to talk about her. This was 3 years ago now!
