Too funny! I read your reply in my email notifications and was wondering why you thought I had called Alex Lexington.  It dawned on me that my 'not so smart ' smart phone  changed it.  It a nous me when it thinks it knows what word I wanted to use and changes it to suit itself.

It is 5:33 am right now here in Texas. In about 40 mins I will be relieved and can head home to my flock. 

You can tell they really love each other and Maxi ' s eyes are so sweet looking in all her pictures.

To answer your question, no I am not a nurse. I work as a Correctional Officer at a Maximum Security Prison Unit. I prefer the night shift as it is much quieter and very little offender movement to deal with and cooler in summer since the buildings the offenders are housed in are not air conditioned. For the past 5 1/2 yrs of my 8 1/2 yrs of working there I have been part of the Perimeter Security Team and mainly work the positions outside the perimeter fence that keeps the offenders in the prison. That includes the towers, patrolling the outer fence in a car, the highway gate where all visitors and officers enter and their identification is checked.  The front gate/metal detector where all persons are pat searched before being allowed into the perimeter fence areas.  Transports to & from medical facilities, and watching offenders at the free world hospital when they have to be hospitalized. Not a bad job to have and can't complain about the pay. My hubby works there too and has been there for the same amount of yrs.

Although I like the two signatures that Blanca (VTBirdLover) created last year for me, I love the style of your signature even more. All the attention goes to your birds who are placed in front. They are all there, side by side. Fantastic!
Somebody else made that signature for you. At least that's what I remember you recently wrote to me.
I would love it if that same person would create a new signature for me. would that be possible?
I have so many photo's to choose from. That makes it difficult and timeconsuming for me to pick the right photo's.
I also would love to have my two sweet longhaired Chihuahua's (Vicky & her daughter Lisa) and my 3 late cats (Thijs, King and Trijntje) in it too. This were 3 amazing cats. I have good memories about them and many photo's and video's.
Alex still dayly talks about all 3 cats, mentioning their names, calling them and saying they are outside or upstairs or so.
I guess because he doesn't see them anymore, he thinks they are at places out of his view (outside or upstairs!).
He regularely says I have to buy Trijntje back. Trijntje is my last cat that passed away, which was the 24th. of January 2014. I guess Alex thinks it has taken long enough now that she isn't there, so I should buy her back for him. I wish I could. I'll add a photo of Alex being bold to my late cat Thijs. Thijs passed away the 12th. of November 2012 at the age of 17. He was hugh, but so gentle and friendly. He was never agresive at all. When Thijs had enough of Alex, he just walked away.
WOW, you do have an interesting job. Did you and your hubby both apply for a job there at the same time?
Or did you meet your hubby there?

Hi Rita, PM means the personal message where you can send me messages only you & I can see. I'ts ok if you want to add the signature photo you need help with on here. I can copy it and work with it from your post just as easy. You do have a signature other than the one you have on here now that you are having trouble adding, right?

Blanca did make my new signature. She goes by VTBirdLover on here. She is the only one who has made my signatures. Right now she is the only member that has offered to make one for anyone who wants one. There is a signature thread under the "Welcome to the BP forums!" section. This is where you can add the photos you would like to have on a new signature and ask Blanca to make a new one for you. Give her an idea how you want the pictures arranged and what background or provide a background photo if you have something that you like. She is very good at creating and arranging the pictures and she tries to make a signature like you want. She will tell you if a photo will not work and you can add another one for her to work with.

Blanca is the one who made Wendy, Debra, Terri, Maddy, Grey & my new signatures. They are all on the thread under "Signatures".

Rita, I reread where you say you are having trouble with your profile picture that Dianne (Spiritbird) made you. So you actually want to add a profile picture you have on your personal profile page? I can still try and add that if that is where you are needing it. I thought you meant a new signature photo you have. I just need the photo added here and make sure it is a profile photo you are trying to get added.

They aren't on my profile-page. They are on my computer.
I would love to have a new even better signature.
One in the style that Debra and De'Andrea have. I love their signatures!

Thanks for your respond.
Yes I have a cold since Thursday-evening the 7th. of August. (A lot of coughing, sore throat, 2 different kinds of headache (forehead and low occiput. That occiput-headache was unbareable  ), feeling week and tired.)
I am doing better now. The headaches are almost gone. But I'm still coughing.
It's especially awful to have a cold right now because, after being unemployed for a long time,
I've started working at a parttime job for 24 hours a week at fryday the 1st. of August.
It's the last thing you want to do, calling in sick at a new job so soon.
