~~From One Room Loft To Palatial Palace~~

As most of you know I've been waiting for Dakota's new cage to come in. Well it finally came in this past Thursday. The next day, Friday was my first day off of my 4 so Jerry & I started working on getting the cage put together after a short nap. Three days later and some strained nerves (mine~~!!men!!) the cage, limbs & toys are ready for the boy in pink panties to move in.  The cage itself was a snap to put together once I convinced Jerry that I am NOT the 'dumb blonde' he was treating me like and listened to me when I told him he could not put two large sides together, one at the back and on for the end  and expect it to fit. Said large sides are actually the back & front panels and he was planning to add the two narrow sides with feeder doors to the front & back instead.  Now you see why my nerves were strained?!! 

So here is Dakota in all his Royal Highness Pinkness enjoying his new found room and play areas.

 I think he was a bit taken aback from all the space, Terri. he was like  I went from having to eat, sleep and go potty all in the same room to a mansion with a separate dining room, alcove, loft and rooftop patio where I can party til dawn~~or until Mom makes me come in.    My loyal fans do love The Boy In Pink Panties~~

Thanks Wendy! The boy in pink panties definitely does love it in there and out of there. 

I think if he could have picked his own home that would have been exactly what he would have ordered.  It is a very well made cage, easy to put together and much heavier gauge wire than on the one I originally bought for my macaw boys. And it was supposed to be for macaws!

You know the party boy, he can't help himself and fermented fruit shots have a lot to do with it too.

Not many I would say Wendy.  At least not many his size. 

Can we say spoiled might just be an understatement?

 And he wants everyone e to know he plans on having a big housewarming party as soon as the decorators are finished adding the last few details they didn't get to this past week. 

Annnd everyone is invited provided you bring a new toy & plenty of fermented fruit shots to get the party started right! Oh and bring  lots of feathered cuties along. He will definitely be parading around in his pink panties and showing off his buff buns out on his rooftop play area.

LOL, I will get Codie's best attire ready for him and make sure he brings lots of birdie goodies with him for the party  He says he can't wait to party all night with the boy in pink panties
