The little one is now almost fully feathered. I know it just budgie as people keep saying but he be mine. And I love him or her to bits. He is going to be just standard colouring, yellow and green but I think he gonna be gorgeous. Won't be long before he is flying I can't wait.
These are a few of him growing up.

Dawn, there is no such thing as "just a budgie". A budgie may be small, but they have personalities just like the biggest macaw. They worm their way into your heart just like a macaw. You love them just as much too.

Your little one is gorgeous! I love the coloring on him/her. I just love budgie faces too and this one is quite cute! Have you named him/her yet?

Sorry not sell short. Think so many people round me not interested I been told it just a bird or budgie so many times. I think word it wrong he not just budgie, it my little bird and it treated the same as jack , Charlie and all rest. I be waiting till can defineately tell sex of bird before name it.  I am hand taming it so it will be part of clan.

Oh how adorable it that!! I love how he/she is cuddling up against you in the 1st photo.  loveuk That is soo soo precious and I absolutely love the widdle budgies myself. I better, I only have 9 of the cuties.  dmblaf None of mine are tame, but that is my fault since I wanted them mainly for their cute sing songs they love to make all day.  Thank you for the update photos. I look forward to more updates as this Fabie grows.  thumb

My first budgie I bought for myself after I was first married and had my own home, was a normal blue/turquoise male that was 6 days out of the nest way back in 1980 from a small local pet shop. He was an impulse buy I didn't plan on getting at that time. I bought a cage from the same pet shop for him that day. I was driving home so I couldn't hold him, but my Mom was with me and a few mins into the long drive of 45 miles the baby snuggled up to her finger she had been offering through the cage bars. He was not a hand fed baby, but he was a super sweet boy I named Cherokee and he was the friendliest budgie I ever owned. He learned to say many words and loved to be held & give me kisses. I still miss him to this day even tho he has been gone for many years.  sadboy3
