Caboose is here !! My lifes finely calmed down [ and I feel better about Harlow].What a neat little guys he is [he acts like a baby }.Hes 3 I think but acts so much younger. I feel fortunate hes so happy  I thought when I first heard about him I was going to have a mad little Caique on my hands !!.He wants to hang out on me most of the time.MY male Caique knows hes in the house and is on a mission to find him  . Hope hes happy here, fits in well. It would be nice if he stops plucking . Here hes enjoying corn and blueberries [loves his apples ]  Its one of those species I think you can have a bunch of [Debra you should see my hair  ] |

Oh, I miss that little guy! The ratted hair, not so much. But he has so much personality! It never stops with him. He looks so happy with you. I'm so glad. Yes, apples were his favorite here too. Has he said "stop that" or "what's up" yet? That is all I heard him say and I barely understood that. Is he still dancing? He loves it when you start chanting "go caboose". That will really get him dancing. You need to video your daughter and him doing this.
Give the little guy a kiss from his Auntie D please.

I'm a bit late on this, trying to catch up on a few threads I haven't had time to get around to. 
Caboose is adorable in that photo!!  Love his 'Oh yeah I'm all that & then some" assertive look he has going on there. It is so sweet that he has settled in so quickly and is doing very well with you Terri.
I think he is where he was meant to be. Karma works wonders for our feathered kids sometimes.

I see that Caboose is a blackheaded Caique.
Great he has settled in so well already.
Does or did he pluck the feathers of his chest though? That's so sad.

Terri,
Sometimes the feather-folicels (no idea if I write this in the right way?) are to much damaged because of earlier plucking-behaviour.
Then no new feathers will ever grow out of them.
How old is he now?
