I bought Coqui a net and two "spiral perches" for Christmas and only managed to get one spiral perch up in her cage. Well Brad and I managed to hang them up this past Tuesday. I know the perches are not "homemade" but it took some handy work to get these two items hung up and I hope to add some homemade toys to it at some point. I knew with Coqui's personality she would love these and I was not wrong. LOL! I hope to get Savannah trying them out. If she likes them, we will do the same set up for her. Quincy on the other hand, I don't think it would work for him.

Here are some pics

Coqui went right for the top. She loves hanging out on the pvc on top, so I have now added some vet wrap to that. No pictures of the vet wrapped pvc though.

Look at me Mama!

She really likes the wood and plastic discs hanging from the net. I hope to add some toys for her to play with.

Her on her new spiral perch.

Great looking play areas you have Coqui.  loveuk Mom really went all out to give you a fun place to spend your time, girl!!   hugu You did a fantastic job with these Blanca.  thumb

Neat idea using the pvc piping. It works for so many things involving our birds.  I only wished I had solid ceilings. Mine are the dropped ceiling with the suspended tiles and very small aluminum strips holding them up. Can't attach anything with very much weight (bird included  dmblaf ) or the strips & tiles will be on the floor.  cwy I have a false attic since my whole house framework, ceilings & walls are steel pipes & steel beams that the aluminum strips are hung from with wires. No actual 2X6 studs in my ceilings except where the light fixtures are attached & those are hung from the beams too. roll
