Over years have spent lot of time trying to help wildlife, hedgehogs, woodpeckers, etc. skip was a London pigeon that was dying he were only bout 2 day old. A friend did the 2 and half hour drive to get me to help. Due to the amount of handling as he was so young skip is too tame to be released. So has been with me about 10 year now. I also have another pigeon that was trapped  when lorry did a bridge strike. It broke her wing and left her slightly brain damaged. Skip is treated like all other birds and parrots here with quality time out. Lives life to the full .
