Hi Everyone! My name is Blanca and I've been on a couple of other parrot forums. Many of you I know here and I am glad to find many of my parrot loving friends now on this forum! I am a parront to a 20 year old greenwing macaw, 10 year old blue and gold macaw, 14 year old African grey and my kids have to lineolated parakeets! I went from 1 to 5 birds last year! But I love everyone minute of it!  I am looking forward to chatting with old friends and making some new ones! I also enjoy making signatures if anyone needs help with that.  |

Welcome to our flock here Blanca! Glad you finally flew in to take a spot on the chatting limb with all of us over here.  You've got a lot of catching up to do here you know! Oh if you didn't already figure it out (obviously since you created my siggie  ) I am AKA Turquoise on other forums, but I was already a member here and I have kept the name Nakia. 
I've missed hearing how all your fabies have been. And soon I will be needing a new signature once I get Dakota (RB2) home and snap a few of my own photos of him. Plus I will get Serita Peta (GCC) added as well. And no I have not figured out how to work my Photoshop program yet despite my having two training DVDs and 2 books telling me how. Even the book for dummies hasn't helped me with this! I need a person sitting right by me to explain all the terms they are talking about.

Thanks Debra! How's things down in Texas? Is your school year ended yet? It's good to see everyone over here! I will get a signature up soon! Quincy, Coqui, Savannah and the Linnies are all doing great. Can't wait to catch up! Things are good here. School let out Friday before last and we've been going non-stop ever since. I'm hoping that things will slow down starting next week. We've had one of my nephews (age 8) and one of my great-nephews (age 1) for the past couple of days. They left this morning and boy does it feel good to not have a toddler crying because I got out of his sight. The older boy we just let him play with Jerry's tablet and he was fine. No problems with him. lol I don't know if you know this, but I've been fostering a caique for Terri for a little while until she gets things settled at her end so I can ship him to her. That is a fun species of bird, let me tell you! There are some pictures and posts about him on the forum if you want to go take a look. His name is Caboose. |

He will be here until around the 25th or so when Terri gets his cage in and set up. He's a fun little guy!
