Hey everybody. It's Tiffany, I'm baaack. Lol
Some of you know me some do not. For those who don't, I'm a college graduate in Animal Science. Currently saving some money up to pursue graduate studies in zoology. I am currently owned by a GCC and a Sun Conure.
Mango, my Sun, has been with me since he was 3-4 months old. He will be turning 3 in July.
Fenix, my GCC, has been in my flock for a little over a month now. He is a rescue and a plucker, however since being with me he has made great progress on his plucking behavior. I believe he may have been abused in prior household. When he first came to me he just sat on his perch and did nothing else other than eat. He is very skittish of hands but he has made great progress. He currently now makes the cutest noises, plays with toys and is very active, as compared to when he first came here.

Hi Tiffany! It's good to see you three here. I love Mango stories and I can't wait to learn more about Fenix. I'm so glad you've seen progress with his plucking. We definitely need some pics of those two.

Yes photos of your adorable Fabies are in order. I have missed hearing about them and I still love the name Fenix & your reason choosing it. So take a spot on the chatting limb & squawk away withe the rest of us birdie friends.

Hey everybody and everybirdie, Sorry I've been absent for so long. I moved to Oklahoma from Tennessee about 6 weeks ago and my main focus since I've been here was to get settled and find a job. I have to say that the "boys" (Mango and Fenix) are adjusting very well. Still having some hiccups between Mango and Fenix....(more from the Mango side) but other than that we are all doing well. I just recently got a full time job (yay! no more temp agencies...  ). Still working on my school application. Instead of starting in January like I had originally planned, it looks like it will be August of 2015. Oh! I'm so proud of Fenix's progress....I'll post pics in Conures :) |

I have some super exciting news....I have an interview for graduate school next week. I'm super excited about this opportunity. It would be a graduate program specializing in Animal Behavior. If I get accepted I will have the opportunity to do my graduate research at the Detroit Zoo.
