Little Kevin our pineapple bellied greencheek (DNA female ) named by my 9 yr old son :) belongs to him but I do all the work ;)

Echo our first grey , bought at 18 wk in a pet shop
Now 5 yrs old and loves everyone :)

Peach out second grey , saw her in a pet shop 4 wks after Havin echo, she had no tail and no wings
I just has to bring her home with me
She turned 5 yesterday 25 may, loves her mummy but will use anyone to get to me :)
Peach lives out on a java tree and doesn't own a cage (another story)

Dave our first 'second hand/rehome' bird
Was locked in a cage with very little stimulation and interaction :(
He is our grumpy old man , won't be handled but we work around it ;)
Been with us just over 4 years (unsure of age but said to be around 12)

Casper , belonged to my late mum
We decided he was to come live with is when mum got poorly
Very much a mans bird but a huge con artist, full of character and very chatty
He's just over 7 yrs old

Coco , a foster bird that never left
21 yrs old this month and a hormonal plucker
Very cage territorial and very much a mans bird
She's been with us now 2.5 yrs

Last but not least baby Treacle
Hatched 7th feb, Chosen at a couple wks old
Came home at 12 wks old
She is such a cuddle bug

There's their kitchen play area
My whole house is dedicated To the birds , even the kids say they get more than they do ;) xx

You have such beautiful birds! I can tell Treacle apart from the others because she still has those baby eyes. But how do you tell the others apart? I assume it's from personalities. Do any of them try the old switcheroo on you and pretend to be someone else?

Debra, even my 9 year old son can tell them apart :)
It's easy when you know them
Echo is tiny and so pretty
Peach is scruffy round the neck (a plucker and mutilator)
Coco has a bald tummy
Dave is dark and has evil eyes lol
Casper is our biggest and cheeky lookin
And Treacle is obviously easy as she a baby :) x x

Now that's what I call 'shades of gray'!  So many beautiful Grays.

I'm going out on a limb here saying your love those Grays, or is just something that happened?

I love their play area, that's great for them.  Do you have any rooms that aren't 'bird central'?

I just love your Greys & their beautiful photos!! You always have such awesome photos of your flock and those play ropes are to die for!! loveuk That is just awesome the way you have them strung out across your kitchen.  thumb

My house is filled with birds & their portable play perches everywhere, but not even as organized and fun looking as yours. I wanna' come play in your house, forget the birds.

Treacle is growing fast, she is soo cute in her fabie poofy head look.

Awwww, I'm so sorry widdle Kevin, I totally forgot to tell you how beautiful you are as well.  hugu

With all the Grey in the room I just overlooked your sweet face. I especially love the little pineapple girls and you look so much like my Peta did. I bet you feel left out with all those pesky Greys taking center stage, but if your anything like my GGC you don't let that happen for long. She used to try and pick  fights with the macaws and Mama was leaping over furniture to grab her.  dmblaf

Mandi, love your beautiful greys and the play areas that you have set up for them.  You can't say that they don't have plenty to do.

I have to say that it's a tie as to who I would take off your hands if needed. Treacle with those baby eyes or Coco with that cute bald tummy. lol

they are all beautiful!!  I love their play areas!  So cool.  Hubby would divorce me if I did that.  Kevin has a purple perch that twists, what is it called and where can I get one??  Yoshi would love that!
