Got the email, checked the site, saw that the forum was under new management, and decided to re-join :)

My name is Emily, and I currently just have a B&G macaw, Cheyenne, and a large aviary of mixed small softbills. My husband and I run bird fairs in MN and WI, and we also do bird grooming in the cities.

That's just the bird side of me. I've recently found a passion for reptiles too, and our house is a ZOO now. We have a chubby frog, bullsnake, kingsnake, milksnake, iguana, and an American alligator. We're also fostering a 20lb boa and another gator until they find a new home. Busy busy here!

We also do educational programs to schools, cub/girl scouts, and daycare groups about animals. It's been tons of fun! We bring a few with us each time for live examples.

Anyway, it's good to see that this forum is going to be lively again :)

Welcome back to the flock Emily! hi5 Beautiful B&G in the photo, I love macaws.  :twirl:

You are busy that's for sure with all that going on. I love reptiles too and used to have a bunch like 34 snakes, several lizards and tortoises. I rehomed them all at different times and now just focus my time on my birds and dogs.  happyjack

I still remember when my son was in school and I brought two parrots, an iguana, and a ferret for show & tell. And years before that I brought my rock collection to one of his classes.  dmblaf

Pinkbirdy- I do fairs in Minnesota every other month, and in Wisconsin twice a year (spring and fall). They're a lot of work to start up, but once they're established it's smooth sailing between fairs. I would love to expand even more eventually.

Here are some of the other critters :)

We also have a 75 gallon semi-aggressive tank:
