We need some lovebird presence here, so, I give you, MELON !! He is our goofy, crazy, lovable and cuddly little 4 year old lovebird.  We got him from Craig's list, advertised as a breeder who had lost his mate. But he turned out to be the sweetest, tamest, most people-oriented bird you could possibly meet. He is a dream. He and my son Ben have a very special relationship....they love each other and spend a lot of time together. So sweet to see...I love having my boys grow up with birdie friends.  :)  (kinda went overboard on pics of this guy, but he's just so darned cute....)

Oh my goodness!! I've seen these pics of Melon before and I am in love with his colors & sweet face. But now I don't kn I w which is the cutest widdle one, Melon or your son Ben!!!

He is absolutely adorable and a real cutie!!  :twirl: Such a beautiful smile he has & that fiddie kiss is just over the top adorable. Thank you for sharing these two cuties with us.

He is gorgeous!!  He and Ben make quite the attractive pair!!  I love kids and fids as well.  Sometimes that special bond takes hold and it is just awesomeness!!

Thanks!  Melon is quite the little character. We really lucked out when we found him...he's a perfect match for us.  Ben loves him to pieces, and it seems to be quite mutual.
