Hello everyone.  About 3 months ago I purchased a lonely little Cockatiel baby from Petco.  No one was paying her or him any attention.  Her or his tail was gone and the flight feathers were chopped severely by the staff.  I am located there as a nutritional consultant for Pro Plan dog and cat food I saw this bird often.  Well you know what happened when a bird tugs at your heart strings.  Luca is a totally sweet bird and easily trained.  I found out today Luca is a male which pleases me not to have to go through the egg thing with him.  Let me see if I can post a photo here.  Well I guess not because when I copy the pic in my pic file on computer it will not paste between the brackets.   cry

I see mistakes I made in the last post but do not see an edit button.  Oh my.  Never mind I just found it.  This forum is so different I will have to get used to it some more.

welcome! he sounds like a real cutie! cant wait to get to know you and lil luca

what is the address of the picture? it must be on the web already. to use the img code.  if its on your computer you cant post it that way but you can upload it as an attachment. at the bottom of the reply screen you will see +additional options... click it. it will open up other options and included is a box that says Attach: with a browse button next to it. hit that browse button and it will let you search your computer for your picture.  click on your picture and its location in your computer will show up in the box. if you have more than one hit the (more attachments) to open up more boxes. then when you are done hit the post button

I've seen photos of Luca Dianne, he is a beauty!  I figured you found him at the pet shop where you work and gave him a home so he could have a happy life. It is just your personality to do that.  hugu

I'm glad you gave Luca a home and he has the two budgies for company.  :twirl:

Congrats on finding out you have a Son, rather than a daughter Dianne  laugh

Dianne, to post a pic here, you just click on "insert image" copy where it says "direct link" on Photobucket and paste it between the tags! Hope this helps!

Congratulations on your boy! I'm sure he'll thrive with you!

I wish our Tiel was a male, I lost a Tiel to egg-binding and NEVER want to go through that again.

Terri, I didn't know about you getting a tiel. I'd love to hear more about him and possibly see a pic or two. How did you come by him?
