Thank you everyone, I am honored to be a part of Buffalo Parrots, everyone here is so friendly and understanding, I consider it a privilege to be part of the Forum.
Along side every notable man there is a awesome woman, at this mans side is my mate Rose Ann, I would not be where I am today without her.
Rose brought both of us into the avian world, we were new to birds and our little Joey taught us so very much, One little female Latino Cockatiel turned our lives in a whole new direction and today both Rose and I are very grateful.
Rose Ann is the backbone to the exotic aspect of BrokenWing Wildlife & Exotic & Pigeon Rescue & Rehab.
Although avian anatomy is basically the same, I always consult Rose when it comes to Exotics.
My passion is the Bird of Peace, better known as the Rock Dove aka the Pigeon.
Many that have found there way to me are with Broken Wings, So this is why I have assumed the alias BrokenWing.
Pigeons have been shipped to me from all over the USA, and as my efforts grew over the years even those from Europe have called upon me, and as well, those that oppose my efforts have also called upon me as I do not support the exploitations of the bird of peace.
My passion within the Exotic world is the Parakeet, these little wonders have always dwell ed deep within my heart.
I thirst for knowledge and spend much of my time searching for information.
I am an Activist, I see wrong and try to right it.
I am a active member of PETA, when they call upon me to investigate animal abuse I go out the door with camera in hand, I print fliers, I spend valued time contacting officials, I basically do whatever I can to help animals.
I am also a member of Wildlife Defenders, PECAS, Birders United, Humane Societies, Minnesota Companion Bird Association, and there are more.
Each animal rights group has skeletons in there closet, they are with error, I am not perfect, I am not without error, I may not support all a group does and or stands for, but I do support there basic objective, to help animals.
Such cries should always be heard.
Buffalo Parrot and Second Chance have made history when uniting, I am very grateful to be a part of such unity and can only pray others follow suit.
I am very grateful for being honored and whomever created the picture, Please know you have touched me so...

BW - you are the best!!!!   AddEmoticons04239  . You have helped me so many times since I joined SCBR. And the incident with Buddy and the egg thursday ... I cried when I saw you were on here signed in., I was so relieved.  I knew you would have all the answers for me. You even contacted YOUR vet for ME. How is that for going above and beyond? I was floored by your kindness and caring. Even though we have never met face to face, I do include you among my list of dear friends. You are very special and it is a privalige to have made your acquaintance. Love ya BW!   :-*

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. Mar I love the spot light picture you made  8)

BW~congrats on the spot light, your passion is obvious in every post thank god for people like you that are willing to go the extra mile no matter what to help the animals that cant help themselves. And kudos go to Rose Ann you are very lucky to have each other to share in your intrest and in the work that you both feel so strongly about. Although some of the things you post are not always easy to read I am grateful for the information, as they say "the truth hurts" but only the informed can make a difference.
I am very happy to be on this forum with you.  ;)

Congratulations!  I have learned so much from you.  Now, whenever I see pigeons in flight, I think, "There goes the Bird of Peace"!  Thank you for being the voice for the "little ones" and for telling it like it is.

Bless you and your wife for all you do!
