Victoria, one of my female budgies, passed away in the wee hours this morning from a prolapse.  It was the one the worst things I have ever seen.  She had never laid an egg in her whole life, which made this very unexpected.  I've read about this on the forums, but I had never seen it.

It seems that, in the past year or so, as my pets age, I have come to this section more and more often. 2sadk

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”
St. Francis of Assissi
