There is a vaccine in use already in Australia, but not approved in the US. That they think they could make it a species specific vaccine is nothing short of amazing!

I knew about an experimental vaccine in Australia, but didn't know it really worked. That is so fantastic!

It still is experimental, but has shown good results in open trials. Response has been really good in cockatoos, which are one of hte most succeptible groups
