We might get two more Pups.  The other day I had an idea that sprang into my head.  To try and find Zeus's breeder and hope she still breeds Min-Pins and from the same bloodline/genes as Zeus.  Fat Dogs paperwork was destroyed in the flood so we were in the blind.  We then did many hours of looking and found what I hoped was the breeders phone #.  Now to call and hope she still breeds after 15 years and that she breeds from some of the same genes.  Got a hold of her and she does.  A litter is due mid December and they will be like GGG Grandpups of Zeus's Mother.    We have time if we want to change our mind but we will get a call and will then be able to go there and have the picks of the litter and a discount if more than one.  This is something and I hope they have a similar smell as Zeus.  He always smelled so good

That is so cool! I know there isn't a dog who will replace Z-Dog, but it will help you heal the hole in your hearts that will bring forth fond memories without the horrible pain. It will also bring laughter into your house.

Morgan is related to Roxy, she is her niece. Some days I look at her and I see so much of my little roxy in her face and they have the same feet. I love that. Another chihuahua would of been ok, but morgie and roxy are related and for me that means a lot! I think it would for you and mar as well.

No, another one or even two will never replace The Z Dog.  Nothing ever will. 

What you will be doing is continuing the love & caring  you both had & still have for Z. It will give you a channel to direct that love and  move into a new life of memories, moments & antics.

When you go see the puppies you will know if it is the right time and the right little guy or guys. You will just know it is and if it isn't, it just means there is still one waiting for you. And you will find each other when it is right.

On my part this is up in the air.  I dedicated so much to Z, wouldn't change it or how I did anything for the world.  Between that and the strong bond we had it really took a toll on me.  The one thing that sways me is it is his bloodline.  They will be tiny peanuts but as long as it is ok I will of course get pics.  
There were a few things that helped with the search in finding the breeder....I remembered her name....the approx area she was from and 2 special pups she had at the time...that and the vet she used to use, although they told me she didn't work with them anymore.  This litter is also supp to be 8-9 pounders....Z was 12ish..well that is about what he should weigh.  So they are going to be pretty tiny!
It is def different around here...something is missing yet I still always feel him.  I guess I will know when I know...ya know?

on this I do know.  my hubby wanted to adopt a new one, my heart was too raw from losing my 16 1/2 year old "baby"
.. he said "just look" and I did and saw one that ...i connected with a little... i dunno.. not an instant bond. but something, I trusted it.   
When he came home I was like "you are cute, but you will never take his place."  well, he slowly climbed into my heart and filled the ache there, and eventually he healed my broken heart. 
he never did or could take his place, but he sure helped heal. 
Now he is my squishy head and I love him soooo very much, as much as my late pup.. not the same way, but it is still very strong. 

things happen for a reason, maybe it is fate that these pups will be born soon..

To be honest if these pups were not of Zeus's bloodline I would not even be thinking this, at least now.  To have pups with the same DNA and G.Grandpups of Z's Momma just feels right, um, comforting    Two young Z a likes, oh Lord  :deer:
